I love this episode, it is so funny! However, Castilian is not a dialect of Spanish.

Didn't love the first two but this one was undeniably brilliant. I'm also very thankful to be getting 40 minute episodes, almost double the usual. The hate on here is strange, it's becoming trendy to remark that Curb has become exaggerated. Hysterical episode, not sure how you could dislike it.

Undermines all of the work that has gone in the previous 9 seasons. Silly really doesnt do justice to how poorly written it is to the point its farcical. Its a comedy but this episode takes any element of story or respect from existence with its slap stick cringe.

The Mexican scenes are unfunny.
The chipped tooth thing is preposterous and unlikely. Why would the lawyer tell him to go eat fake fruit? The going to the funeral to pay for the meal the next day is absurd.
The last 3or 4 minutes is funny. This ep just isn't funny at all. Too many unlikely and ridiculous scenarios.

This season started of quite promising
With two "ok" episodes, but this one was
Just so stupid; and not in a typical "silly curb stupid" way. I will check out episode 4 out of sheer curiosity that the series gets back on track, but I'm thinking it may have been better to have just let the series go and not done this season. I used to think JB Smoove was a great supporting actor that comedically worked

All the elements of what makes curb your enthusiasm was there, but it failed to be funny. The entire episode, I couldn't help but think there is problems with the script/outline, but there is bigger problems with direction. Then I found out that the director was Cheryl Hines. My suggestion (not that anyone is asking): Cheryl should stick to acting, and leave directing to others. It takes a lot from a director to translate a script into a funny episode, and she definitely did not deliver on that.
