I have to admit, before I saw this film I wasn't a huge fan of the band. Don't get me wrong, I love their music but I wasn't what you'd call a hardcore fan. However, being a lover of film and their music I wanted to see it. This film introduces you to Kirk Rundstrom of SplitLip Rayfield and makes you fall in love with who he was as a person. I knew nothing about him before I saw it and when I left I felt like I had lost a friend. The way the film maker not only followed him around with his band but brought us into his personal life was incredible. He really brought out who Kirk was. He was a loving, caring individual who wrote incredible music. This film was amazing! Thank you for allowing us to view one more show with Kirk doing what he did best!
