AKA The recipe for the perfect Dynasty episode. Whoever thinks Dynasty should become some sort of musical comedy is absolutely ludicrous, this episode and 2x14 prove that Dynasty works best when it's dark, shocking and can really pull a punch. Leaving you with your mouth on the ground and in disbelief. I just wish EVERY episode could be like this, but I'll count my blessings after last seasons skid marks on the show. The dialogue and writing was perfect with little comedy. This is my kind of Dynasty.

Excellent writing

Warning: Spoilers
Not in a million years would I have imagined that it was Anders who died. Besides, Kirby's life is in danger, I don't know. So many things happened in this episode that it generates a lot of adrenaline and anguish. Excellent.

Heartbreaking

This episode was everything we could have asked for. Chris Fife did an amazing job incorporating elements of the OG show and s1 of the reboot. I still wonder why he isn't the showrunner already. Anders will be forever missed. He was such a good character and Alan Dale was amazing in the role. Even though I expected his death, the way it was build was really original and this proves that the show works when it's dark. Can't wait to see what there's in store next to those who were the closest to Anders and specially Kirby.

One of My Favorite Episodes of Season 4

I really loved this episode. The pacing, the dialogue, it was good and most parts were very emotional. This episode was very OG Dynasty and Season 1. Hopefully more episodes are like this. Thank you Christopher Fife for writing such an amazing episode.

Everything about this episode was so well made. The acting, the writing, the directing. I was absolutely not expecting Anders to die, he will be missed. Overall just an extremely good and sad episode.

Anders Deserved Better

Warning: Spoilers
For the most part I can overlook the utter cringe and hard to belive occurrences and plot armour surrounding the main characters but for this episode I simply cannot.

To keep this short, I will ignore the nonsense that was how easily Fallon found Liam, how Cristal managed to survive a surgery as high risk as this under those conditions, how ridiculous it is that the pilot just got knocked out and Blake had to save the day and the fact that Adam is a neuro surgeon all of a sudden, and I will focus only on Anders.

This episode is trash because it uses shock value to give the lazy writers a pat on the back for pulling a 180 on the audience. For the entire season, it has been teased that someone would die and it was set up in such a way that most would think it's Liam even though few believed it will be. But it turned out to be Abders that died and though I do not completely hate the fact that they killed off an important character such as this; it creates the sense that none of the characters are safe; I belive it would have been better if they had executed it in a better way.

Anders was personally my favourite character and I hate that he was just killed off out of the blue without saying goodbye to anyone or getting a proper send off. Purely for cheap shock value. They should have taken time not an entire episode but something to stretch out his final moments, for him to make peace with his daughter and say goodbye to the Carringtons before dying not a quick hit and ditch.

This episode was garbage and it has ruined the show for me.
