We are in our fifties and love it! It's just so much fun, the mystery of it. Would definitely appeal to preteens and teens! We are looking forward to season four! The horses, the acting and the cinematography is top notch! Give it a try!! So worth it.
Created by Amy Shindler and Beth Chalmers, it is based on Pony Club Secrets, Stacy Gregg's series of pony novels, the first of which is Mystic and the Midnight Ride (2007). Set on the fictional peninsula of Kauri Point, New Zealand, Mystic tells the story of Issie Brown and her new-found friendships with the town's teen horse riders, and their efforts to save Kauri Point from an industrial development that threatens it.

Love this show and the characters! It's light hearted, entertaining, keeps you guessing! REALLY really hoping they renew for season 4, 5 and more! After each episode it really keeps you wondering what is going to happen next, that I always look forward to the next episode! The characters are so easy to fall in love with and you really want to keep following them as they develop and change. The horse parts of the show are quite accurate. As a horse person myself some shows irritate me when they are not close to being realistic, but as mythological the show is the horse related parts are very accurate! Which makes this show that much better!

This is a beautiful sweet cinematic gorgeous show with great acting interesting stories and dynamic families. It's also fun just getting a little look at New Zealand and Maori culture. It's is a teen/family horse show, but for that it has again great story set and acting. And the horses are beautiful and shots of riding is really good. And it has supernatural elements which I found really interesting. It does has a lot of drama, some unnecessary conflict from people simply not calling each other right away, but for the most part they actually make that make sense in the world. And despite all these factors, the show feels very grounded and realistic. The best part though is that even though ALL the characters make bad choices and cause hurt, THEY ALL always apologize fully and sincerely-and that's so refreshing to see in a show that is about horses and drama. More shows need to show people being accountable, and giving and receiving forgiveness and reconciling despite mistakes from selfishness.
