Lots of Laughs
Christmas-Reviewer13 December 2019
Review Date 12/13/2019

I have Reviewed OVER 600 "Christmas Films, & Christmas Television Movies , & Television Specials". Please BEWARE Of films and specials with just one review! For instance When "It's a POSITIVE" chances are that the reviewer was involved with the production. "If its Negative" then they may have a grudge against the film for whatever reason. I am fare. I am on a mission to watch every Christmas Movie ever produced. Since 2014 I average 100 per year.

Adults return to their childhood home and resort to becoming children again. Plenty of laughs and relateable subject matter.

Deck the halls with empty beer bottles and empty wine bottles

The first episode was a hodgepodge of a dysfunctional family getting together a few days before Christmas. If you can imagine some of the most despicable acts that family and/or their friends can consider doing and/or acting upon their selfish instincts than maybe you will enjoy this. Believe it or not, Denis Leary who usually plays the lowest of all lowlifes, in this mini-series he plays the father named Sean Sr. Moody who tries to reign in his wild adult children.

I found this first episode confusing and not funny. Rather, the director appeared to attempt to lower the actor's morals with bad behaviours, immature acts of petty crimes, and gratuitous infidelities all verbal of course since it is Christmas right?

If you enjoy Christmas camp humour may I suggest you watch a rerun of Christmas With the Kranks (2004), Home Alone (1990), and/or National Lampoons Christmas Vacation (1989), instead of wasting your time on The Moody's Christmas. My opinion...bah humbug.
