Newspaper Headline: Stuff Happens As Wave of Ambiguity Spreads I think this episode is so funny. In it, Stan accidentally brings home a thermos with contaminated with a deadly virus. The CIA puts the family on quarantine. Since they're supposed to die within a day, they decide to spend it watching the first season of 24. Roger plans to redecorate the house once they are gone. It's really funny when he starts bringing in paint samples, saying he's gonna need something bright after getting over all this sad. As it turns out, the virus wasn't active. The virus scare makes a lot of their neighbors sell their homes, and when Francine meets a real estate agent she decides to become one. Stan is ashamed when Francine starts making more money than he does. He then has her boss arrested and her agency shut down. But his plan doesn't work out very well because Francine just goes into business for herself. She even hired Roger to be her assistant. Haley uses one of her mother's houses to set up a shelter for the homeless. But Steve wanted to use the house for a Girls Gone Wild knockoff, but since he can't, he and his friends start a bum fighting business. When Stan learns of this he sees an opportunity to make more money than Francine and hustles Steve and his friends out the business. This makes Haley and Steve very upset so to break Stan, Haley unionizes the bums, who go on strike. This leaves Stan with no fighters. He is then tricked into fighting a man, who is so bad that he "killed his own name". It turns out that, that bum as just an actor. Stan eventually comes to terms with Francine making more money than him and wishes her well. But Francine's real estate agency goes out of business due to interest rates, which turns out that Stan had forced the man to raise after kidnapping his dog. Overall 9 out of 10. Roger is especially funny.
