Only once in my 57 years on the planet had I watched a piece of TV that will stay with me forever. Now it's twice.
I was skeptical about this programme as I thought it would be lightweight and clichéd. How wrong I was!
One Day is quite simply one of the best portrayals I've ever seen of true soul aching, star crossed , deep and real love.
I read the book years ago but my goodness seeing the story unfold in this way in short episodes was something else. It starts slowly but it needs to to really convey the passing of time in the relationship between Dex and Emma.
Be warned.... It will break you. Cried until I couldn't breathe.
