From the very first scene you know exactly what you're getting and the suspense is built throughout the show masterfully. The actors brings so much life and emotion to the table with truly captivating performances.
The only major pitfall of this first season is that the third episode takes a detour and doesn't advance the plot, while it does effectively show life during the apocalypse the time could have been used better.
