The creators have certainly captured the feel of John Wick. The gun-fu style is still prevalent in the early scenes of the first episode which keeps the pace exciting. I couldn't help but notice the character Frankie fights in the same style as John Wick so maybe we will see a story line unfold where Frankie mentors John at a later date? There seems to be some confusion with Winston Scott's accent too from some viewers due to him having an American accent and not a British accent as heard in the films. Winston Scott IS American but moves to England and remains there for some years, hence the British accent in the John Wick films. Overall I'd find it hard to believe fans of the films won't fall in love with this series. 10/10 so far for episode one.
