RETRIBUTION (2023) ** Liam Neeson, Noma Dumezweni, Lilly Aspell, Jack Champion, Embeth Davidtz, Matthew Modine. By-the-numbers suspense crime drama with Neeson as a family man facing an extreme crisis - his car is fitted with a bomb and he must save his children in the process before time runs out. The set pieces are vastly predictable and has the feel of a direct-to-video vibe with Neeson looking painfully strained to do this subpar auctioner with surprisingly practically no ass-kicking as which he's been accustomed to in his later career choices.
