A Brilliant Satire about Political Rebels
20 July 2023
There will be two kinds of people after watching the film, one who don't know what to make of this and other who will apprecaite it for its experimental nature.

The barely understandable plot does offer a sharp criticism of revolution for the sake of revolution with its absurd and witty premise. Throughout the film, you will see protagonists engaging in sharp political exchanges, even though you can see them making sense sometimes, most of it is plain ridiculous.

I really loved the aesthetics of the film, if one couldn't decipher the plot, the aesthetics of the film would stick with you. The colourful set designs and the costumes really create a beautiful image.

I also loved the dialogues in the film. They really kept me interested throughout the narrative. Jean Luc Goddard really has a style that makes him stand out from others.
