OK, so I was an extra in this movie way back when it was filmed. New Orleans is actually downtown Toronto, and I remember the fun we had pretending to be drunken Mardi Gras partiers, complete with beads and cups filled with...alas...water, lol. I couldn't find myself in the crowd while watching, but to be fair, I don't even remember what I looked like 22 years ago.
I do remember the cemetery set was indoors and very cool, and that we had lots of waiting, lots of food, and my friend and I had a blast playing cards with the other extras. The pay was sweet too.
And...that's all I remembered, lol.
So watching this today on Prime Videos was an unexpected treat. I had no recollection of the plot, so it was like a brand new movie for me.
It kind of reminded me of Buffy, but without Buffy, lol. Very campy, but beautifully shot, and lots of fun. Plus Drac was easy on the eyes.
I had fun and would recommend this, but may be biased because it's all wrapped up in very vague but fun memories from a lifetime ago.
