Unfortunately, this is not a film about the career of Mike Tyson, which I am very sure, would have been far more interesting than this bland piece of Hollywood inspiration. The problem with this film is both in the plot and in its execution. The plot is a bit convoluted, and takes away from our primary concern for the protagonist, an autistic boy who attempts to become a marathon runner. That was a noble idea by the writer, but the ball is fumbled by trying to add a subplot that does not work too well. And amateur acting has a lot to with that result. The boy is fine, but the supporting cast is...a bit grating on the nerves. Good try, but no medal.
