Planes, Trains, And Older Men...
19 April 2022
The movie is clever on how Felix and Oscar reunite 30 years after our first exposure to them. As Oscar's son who's an actor; is planning to get married - to none other than Felix's daughter. Also an actress in Hollywood. The two older fathers literally crash into each other at the airport, and proceed to get lost, loose their transportation, and meet with sketchy people and local law enforcement on a frequent basis. Clever in the constant run in's, and great dialog as always that get them in and out of their predicaments. But had it not been for Planes, Trains, and Automobiles beforehand, this would've been a HILARIOUS movie! Instead it's somewhat predictable, forced, and tedious in many places. Hard not to like Lemmon and Matthau though, and they make the movie bearable at least.
