Amusing in parts but requires patience. The humor is touch and go, with Gracie Allen and WC Fields providing the funniest moments, especially Allen. The movie is virtually unfettered by plot and moves from one gag, one bit, to another. Another highlight is Cab Clloway singing about the "reefer man," this being a film made when the Hollywood Production Code was not being enforced. The scatological humor is eyebrow raising, and another interesting payoff for investing time in what is really not that great of a movie.
