This is quite the curious wild little horror movie. I am surprised this got the 4k treatment in Germany. But I am also kind of pleased that it did. Looks phenomenal - which in certain aspects is maybe not a good thing (seeing the special effects for what they are).
Acting is really good all things considered and the movie has or rather checks all the sleazy points a movie from the 70s should have. Well except lesbian encounters as one of the audio commentaries states. All kidding aside, the horror slowly creeps up on us and while the ... (d)evil may not look too frightening (some might argue the exact opposite), the movie is quite solid overall ... with an interesting ending I guess ...
