Journey to the land of the dead
21 June 2021
A story of fatalism can still be uplifting. A father's struggle for his mute daughter to be cured is wrapped in ancient symbolism and mafia "honor".

The photography is beautiful in the ancient forests of Basilicata. The plot moves along with no dead spots. It's both human and supernatural. I don't want to give the plot away, so I'll stop here.

It's an excellent movie well worth your time. My wife and I both enjoyed it greatly.
