Lessons of Darkness (1992 TV Movie)
8/10
Visually Informative
26 March 2021
"Lessons of Darkness" is the closest thing you can get to a photo journal on screen. This documentary has very little dialog, interviews, or narration. It is chapterized with numerous video shots of the after effects of Iraq's attack on Kuwait.

So much oil.

The music at times didn't fit at all. Besides being too loud, it didn't suit the mood. The overall imagery is one of tragedy to both man and nature, but I suppose that's what war reaps. Don't watch this documentary for action, drama, or suspense. It is informative in a visual way only. A look at what devastation man can cause.
