The results are mixed. A lot of shorts clearly think they're a lot cleverer than they really are and don't gain much from being sandwiched between equally demanded segments.
If you keep reminding yourself that these are based on real experiences you may be more at peace with the lack of development in each part as we range from strange, charming and down right pretentious where a lot of good ideas get poor handling ("Horny" springs to mind).
I suppose my favourite is "A bird in hand" since its simplicity gives it a certain vividness.
By the end I want to go along with its attempt to paint a microcosm of humanity but I feel that this could have been so much better.
