I grew up watching this movie and while I liked it I always thought the first one was better. It's not as funny as the first one. Max and his friends go to college leaving Goofy lonely. After getting fired due to suffering from Empty Nest Syndrome he decides to go back to college much to Max's horror. Things get even more complicated when Max has to deal with a rival competing in the X Games.
Meanwhile as Goofy navigates through college he falls in love with the librarian while also trying to reconcile with his son. The movie's animation is cleaner and brighter but it's not as funny as the first one. The jokes just don't come together as well as the one from first movie. For what it is it's ok.
If you like the first one you'll probably like this one ok though not as much. Take it for what it's worth and see for yourself.
