6/10

Warning: Spoilers
Yes it is not a total let down if you want to have fun with Newt and his beasts, even though that is not supposed to be the real deal in the movie.

The movie - in my opinion - should have focused more on Grindelwald and his story, because while the plot keeps going, there is almost no details about Grindelwald or how dangerous he is. There is literally no information about him - for example, it was made very clear about Voldemort in HP Series, that's why it is really frustrating not knowing enough about a villain in the wizard world. We just see him get caught at the end out of the blue.

Secondly, the beasts part is really boring, too. It's like watching a video game's side missions. "Catch all the animals escaped from your case". They just walk around New York and look for the beast that have run away. Yes that is fun, but for a while, not for almost a whole movie.

That brings us to the last problem with the movie. After the incredible sorcery atmosphere in England, it is really hard to adopt to the USA's wizard world. The all 'The Magical Congress of the United States of America (MACUSA)' seems so American and artificial. Hope they can fix that feeling in the upcoming movies.

So I would rate it 5/10, but the magic made me rate 6/10.
