The typical FOX sit-com formula minus the talent and writing
10 January 2016
In the style of too many FOX sit-coms to count (some successful, some not) this one stands out for the fact that it has the same formula (outsider/goofball talking to the camera & giving voice-overs throughout, bumbling side-kicks, token non-threatening black friend and fast-paced editing) but goes to show how bad this formula is when you don't add good actors and writers as part of the variables. Not since "Sons of Tucson" have I seen something so painfully bad from FOX that it makes me wonder whose favor was called in to get this on the air. In sum, this show will be lucky if it outlives the time it takes me to hit "submit" for this article to when it goes live.
