The Simpsons: Lisa Goes Gaga (2012)

Pass the sick bucket please.

Warning: Spoilers
Lady Gaga is a talented musician, there's no denying that. But this episode of The Simpsons is literally a half-hour promotion for her that nobody wanted.

I have nothing against musicians appearing on this show. Who can forget Michael Jackson, Johnny Cash or three of The Beatles? This is just as memorable but in a different way. A vomit inducing way.

The plot sees Lady Gaga show up at Springfield where she decides to help improve Lisa's self-esteem after a psychic vision tells her to. She succeeds and then the episode ends with them performing a duet. I'd feel physically sick but Gaga kissing Marge had already produced the vomit by then.

There's nothing to like here. The episode is effectively one long gag about Gaga's eccentricities and a rehashing of all her most "shocking" moments such as that infamous Meat Dress. It's as if to simultaneously say "Look at us kids, aren't we relevant" and "F*** you actual fans!"

I can't stress this enough so I'll spell it out for you: AVOID IT LIKE THE PLAGUE!!!
