Robot & Frank (2012)

Touching and funny-

Warning: Spoilers
This is a wonderful move. It deals with what would normally be the heavier themes of family relations, dementia and aging in a sweet and poignant way. It is one of those movie that may keep you thinking well after it's over. Frank Langella is perfectly cast, and creates a strong but understated character the audience can empathize with. I was happily surprised to see Susan Sarandon. The themes I mentioned earlier can be hard to deal with without seeming too heavy and depressing. This movie avoids that with a touching and slightly poignant script and story that quickly pull you in and keep you there until the end. A good movie creates believable characters in a believable world and this movie does that. OH- and be SURE to watch the clips during the end credits.
