Chances are you probably found this movie while surfing through Netflix's horror selections, that's how I found it anyway. I originally avoided watching this movie because the rating on IMDb was rather low. After deciding to watch it today I do not understand half of the negative reviews on here. I thought it was a very good movie. Yes it was slow paced but not in a boring way. It just took time to show the characters personalities which I believe is necessary for a movie. A lot of people also complained a lot about it not being original but I mean c'mon; how many original movies are there now-a-days. It is simply a haunted house/serial killer movie but I believe it is really well done. The lead character was played out very nicely and she was also relatable. People also complained about the movie not being scary. I agree it wasn't scary to me but everyone see's fear differently. It definitely contained some scary or more accurately chilling moments like the (spoiler) cop's death scene which sort of jumped out at random. Basically in summary, this movie won't keep you awake at night but it may cause you to feel a tad uneasy at some parts. Overall, I liked this movie a lot. It's not the best movie ever made but it's definitely worth watching on Netflix if you don't have much to do. 8/10
