I watched this on a DVD.
It started out looking promising, but soon it is clear there is not enough plot for a full length movie and it is stretched by adding irrelevant subplots like getting lost. In fact half the movie has to do with getting lost. I had to fast forward many times during the movie to skip the boring moments.
The movie also try to explain how the Santa empire works -- with mission control, invisible space ship, elves swat team, etc. I'm not impressed -- it just opens up more questions that aren't explained.
If this was a Disney animation, there would be a few adorable and cute characters. But there isn't, even though they tried. The main character is not that likable, and neither are the brother or the parents. The elves are kind of sad-looking. And strangely, I noticed Santa has less facial expression than the other characters.
The ending is predictable.
Overall, one of the less interesting animation. It's an animated movie for the sake of making an animated movie. In the future please start with a good story and lovable characters.
