Brilliant Zombie Flick

I'd like to preface this by saying that if you are someone who prefers that Transformers 2 follows the same formula as Transformers 1, then this is not the movie for you. If you are afraid of change, then this movie is not for you. If you are an enemy of creativity, then please do not watch this movie. Instead, I highly recommend that you watch something more suitable to your tastes such as Brave, Transformers 2, or Ice Age 3D.

You'll notice that many of those who review this movie will complain that the camera work is different from the first two RECs. How could this possibly be an issue? They are making the third movie in the series, do you REALLY have such low standards for creativity that you would not prefer them to change it up? The camera work was VERY high quality. I would be hard pressed to find another horror movie with better shots and technique.

This is a very fast paced movie with quite a bit of gore, some original some not. All of it pushes the boundaries of a traditional mass produced series. The plot, as usual, is interesting and provides a deeper insight into the REC lore. There is a low amount of predictability.

There are only a couple of minor coherency issues with regards to the mucous membrane, the mouth, etc and transmission of infections but not every movie is perfect. If there's a nit to pick with Rec3, it's that.

If you like fast paced, original, horror movies that push the limits creatively, then watch REC3. If you don't like new things, don't watch this. Watch Transformers.
