This film should be considered a crime against nature! (I've never seen the original, but this version was simply awful.) The plot made no sense-except perhaps as a liberal propaganda film for the WWF. The acting was surprisingly second rate-even though it starred Jim Caveziel (of Passion of The Christ). The pacing was way too slow and boring. It mainly consisted of nature shots & the couple arguing. I thought it would be campy fun-like b movie nature-against-man goodies from the past such as "Frogs" or "Day of the Animals". But this boring mess made those old films look like Oscar winners. It should not be classified as a horror or suspense film in any way, shape or form. Don't waste your time or money on a rental!
