Review of Rugrats

Rugrats (1991–2003)
8/10
A great cartoon from my childhood
4 August 2006
Warning: Spoilers
I've been watching this cartoon since the age of six when it was shown on the Saturday morning programme Live and Kicking and I found it strange but interesting because the babies talk, usually when they're not near the adults. In the episode Regarding Stuie, the babies talk to Stu after he fell from the roof and this is the only episode I've seen where the Rugrats actually talk to an adult when they are babies.

Some episodes have a similar storyline, especially the ones where Angelica gets punished because in Partners In Crime, she eats most of the cakes Charlotte made and she eats a lot of sweets in the Halloween episode Curse Of The Werewuff. Two of the later episodes are similar to the early episode where the adults take the Rugrats to the movies because they all feature the Dummi Bears.

This cartoon is brilliant apart from the storyline repetition in some episodes, but they're still worth watching. I was also pleased to see Dil and Kimi in the TV series because they were both introduced in the first two movies: Dil in The Rugrats Movie and Kimi in Rugrats In Paris.
