I avoided renting this movie for months because I thought it was a cheap take on the story about the real guy who did this back in the early 80's. I was pleasantly surprised that it had nothing to do with the real "Lawnchair Larry" and even more surprised by how intriguing the picture became. Rhys Ifans (Danny) and Miranda Otto (Glenda) are fantastic together and their performances keep the viewer captivated throughout the entire picture. You really can't take your eyes off Otto she's so beautiful. I am surprised this movie didn't make noise in the American box offices, but I suspect it was because it was a foreign film (set in Austrailia). Call me sentimental but I think I like this movie so much it's in my top 25. Loved it and highly recommend it!
