i love this story! moody, slow-to-build, suspenseful and not-too-gory (though plenty creepy in places) sequel to the Japanese "ju-on" franchise. the so-called "queen of horror", after surviving an auto accident that puts her fiancé in a coma, takes part in filming a show at the infamous murder house. soon, the hair starts to fly and people start to disappear.
i loved the strange use of premonitions and the completely unexpected places mom and her son would show up. true, i don't speak Japanese, but you don't really need to to get the gist of the story. i felt in some places it was a little bit hard to follow (changing place, time and viewpoint very quickly) even with the subtitles. some of the characters targeted didn't even seem to have been to the house.....
