'Three Kings' could well turn out to be one of the cinematic surprises of 2000. This film is a rarity, in that David O. Russell has produced an intelligent action film. It perfectly captures the balance between entertainment and the message. Clooney continues to recover from Batman, Ice Cube reminds us of 'Dough Boy', and Wahlberg is no longer Marky Mark. The scene depicting the bullet is spectacular to behold, and there is much more to this quality production. David Russell has now produced '3' cinematic 'Kings' of his own, and I await the 4th with relish.
