Review of Django

Django (1966)
7/10
Not great, but certainly fun.

This fun, ultra-violent Western is very close to the Leone-spaghetti style. Franco Nero is no Clint Eastwood, of course, but he's an acceptable substitute (although he's hampered by the fact that his voice is dubbed, which is a pity because Nero's own voice is one of his best features). No masterpiece, but has hardly a dull moment. (**1/2)
