Let It Snow (2013)
Charming Christmas Movie
I loved this movie. I want to spend every Christmas at this lodge with these people and eat all that food that somehow one middle aged woman prepares! Yes it is corny but I did feel there was actual chemistry between the two leads (unlike most Hallmark Christmas movies). If this movie doesn't put you in the Christmas spirit with the gorgeous snowy scenery, rustic lodge full of decorations, a Mom and Pop like you wish you had and all the traditions and Christmas food then nothing will! This is definitely one of my favorites and Candace couldn't be more adorable doing the Feast of Saint Thomas ritual before bed.
A Veteran's Christmas (2018)
Enjoyable Christmas Movie
I really liked this movie and have watched it many times. Yes it is corny but acting much better than most. I wish they showed more of the dogs. The part that I found too unrealistic even for a Hallmark movie, was the ex-girlfriend who professes her love to Joe, that she never stopped thinking about him, bending over backwards to help bring Grace's dog to the States including the two women exchanging a big hug. And in the real world the person answering the door would not look like Sean Faris, be single, have an awesome job and own the perfect beautifully decorated country home and offer Earl Grey tea! Lol
Christmas Around the Corner (2018)
I loved it
The acting in this movie was so much better than most Christmas movies. I probably have watched it 20 times and will keep it saved. I wasn't that impressed with the female lead in Walking Dead but she was perfect for this role. The one annoyance was the glaring ad for Chewy.
Does anyone wear blouses anymore? There were a lot of them in this movie.
I found the blacksmith thing a little weird but not enough to spoil the movie. I also enjoyed Jane Alexander. Very good movie overall.
