This is a cult movie in the making
Think The Crow...this is on the same calibre but without the amazing soundtrack. I was endeered to the main character. He was struggling to deal with his situation and his loss. Just Like The Crow. He had a need for revenge. This is like robocop without the prosthetics. The first fight scene is so cool but also hilarious too because the way he moves. You just are not expecting that. Just like when you first saw The Crow. There is a massive twist at the end of the film and leaves a total bittersweet ending. The film is gripping and you are just rooting for the main protagonists need for survival. Trust me you root for the AI too. For a FIlm of it's budget...I hear around $5,000,000 if this is true this is a totally outstanding work. This is probably gonna be a total cult movie on many levels in the future. See it Watch it and pay for it. Because I think this Director will be a future of films to come...so pave their way

Waste of time really
I'm not a big fan of horror films any more but I do like TV shows like Penny Dreadful and I was hoping for something in that vein. This film is not that. The two highpoints of the the film are the initial romantic relationship between Joseph and Constance Barton and then the brief part of the film when Anne Montague enters the story and her relationship with Constance. Both these parts of this film give hope that you may see a terrifying fall from grace or a total downward spiral into madness from any of the characters. Instead our punishment as the audience is boredom.
On a Victorian theme to sum this whole movie up....its like looking at a really nice Christmas Tree with really authentic decorations only to realise the actual tree itself is just a cheap plastic mock up.

Great non hollywood film
This is a superb film. Ok it is Russian so is in subtitles but seriously give it a chance...at least as long as you are watching you won't miss any dialogue. But this is a really magical fantasy film. The premise is just simply awesome and its well executed. The special effects are more than adequate and I think the directors though maybe limited with finances wanted to make a beautiful story look simply beautiful. This film is destined to be a cult classic especially for dragon lovers. Forget Unicorns...Dragons are where it's at.
