La sociedad de la nieve (2023)
A roller coaster experience
I loved this movie 100%, the performances, the cinematography, the script, the special effects, the costumes, the hair and the makeup, a movie worthy of several Oscars. Don't take away from the 7.9 it has, this movie deserves much more than 8. I also loved the filming locations, in the same mountains where the events occurred, in the Andes and they also filmed in the mountains of Granada, in Spain, perhaps nearby, who knows, with beautiful landscapes but impossible to live in, with temperatures probably below 20 celsius or 40 celsius, that at those temperatures nothing can be grown, there are no animals either, anyway, speaking a little more to May Imdb let me publish this review, hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha. I will continue to recommend this movie, watch it now.
Saving Private Ryan (1998)
Saving Private Ryan Review
I think this movie is overrated, this movie is on that list of movies that just one viewing is enough, I didn't like it, but to each their own taste, I think "1917", "All Quiet of the Western Front " and "Schindler's List" are better. The performances were more or less, the beginning of the movie, the camera was making me dizzy from so many movements it made and during the plot, many things that happened that didn't quite add up to me.
Anyway, the movie is at #25, I don't know why..., there are many better movies than this, like Gladiator, Intouchables, Parasite, Memento, City of God, Capharnaum to name a few.
The Women and the Murderer (2021)
A Serial Killer
The documentary is about a serial killer, in France, during the 90s, who murdered several young women, it really left me a feeling of sadness and pain at the same time, it is a documentary in my opinion, well done, I understand that things were not left unfinished, they gave many details of what happened, during the investigations of who had been the murderer, the trial, the feelings of the families with the murder of these young women. I also felt a lot of empathy with these young women, full of life, projects, futures, very impressive.
The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring (2001)
This movie should be top 4
Yes, this movie should be in the top 4, I don't know where, but it should and should be at least 9.1 / 10. The movie is a masterpiece. Excellent story, soundtrack, cinematography, set design and a pretty good CGI to be from the early 2000's, from start to finish this movie hooks you, for those who like fantasy, of course.
A film that will have passed 50 years and will still be on the lips of cinephiles.
Promising Young Woman (2020)
A case
Wow, the movie is good, it surprised me a lot, I thought the movie was going to be done in a way and it was totally different from what I thought, good casting, Alfred Molina the villain from Spiderman 2 and Clancy Brown from The Shawshank Redemption
Seppuku (1962)
Honor
I love this movie a lot, it has a very good history, the cinematography to be from that time, it has impressed me, the performances, many things happened that I did not expected and especially the central messages, the honor, the traditions that are put by on top of people's lives, abuse and indiferrence. If I would see it again? Of course.
Jodaeiye Nader az Simin (2011)
A Separation review
Is a good movie, not better than "The Intouchables" (2011) (sorry Oscars), have drama, a divorce, have things that could happen in real life. I really don't understand the final, maybe they want you to imagine what happen at the end, there are good actors too, this movie reminds me the latins novels.
Intouchables (2011)
¡Wow! ¡Wow! ¡Wow! 👏👏👏
A beautiful film, I laughed a lot with it, one of the best films I have seen in my life and one of the few that really deserves a 10/10, it must have won best international film in The Oscars. I feel that the central message would be friendship, understanding, compassion ... 100% recommended. And should be on the top 30.
The Face of Mercy (2016)
The Unfathomable Mercy
Humanity will not find peace until it confidently approches My mercy, period. Do you want to know how is the mercy of God?, go and watch this documentary.
The Last Dance (2020)
Amazing
The GOAT, the dynasty of the bulls, a legacy, for me this was the most sincere documentary of what happened in those times.
I'm Thinking of Ending Things (2020)
Review
I give this rated because of the acting, cinematography and the differents points of the camera view was amazing, the clothes and color palette, this movie looks really good. The first time you see the movie, you will not understand it, but if you read a little what the book is about and what it all means, the second time you will understand.
The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King (2003)
The Return of the King review
One of my best movies of all time, is on my top 3, an epic ending for a trilogy, every minute is worth gold, it's like i'm watching the last episodes of the last season of an epic series.
The last minutes of the movie after the volcano are incredible, i never get tired of seeing her.
The Godfather (1972)
The Godfather review
It's a very good movie, it's about family interests, family mafia, it could be said that a power struggle as well, there were scenes that really shocked me, the movie takes as well really unexpected directions, the perfomances were also very good, both Marlon Brando, Al Pacino and the other supporting actors.
The different camera angles that were used in the scenes, the only thing for which i put one point less, it's because of the way the mafia works, like a monopoly and some things that the movie want you to asume, that three years passed, for example, like: "wait, hold on, what happened here?, and those things.
12 Angry Men (1957)
12 angry Men Critics
I saw a few superficial coments about this movie. I like to delve into things, the movie has an excellent script and it hooks you from the first moment, at least for me.
The message that appears above the first scene in the building, i am very captivated, "Justice is the firmest pillar of good", that phrase left me thinking a lot, the questions that arise, that weather or not the old Man heard the scream, how the knife entered, it is not easy to send someone to the death penalty.
Those questions too, left me thinking a lot, playing with someone's life is very delicate and dangerous, what would we do if it happened to us?, that I wondered at one point in the movie. The performances too, they were very good. And i think....the boy is innocent. There are few movies with this kind of message.
The Passion of the Christ (2004)
The Passion of our Lord
The acting of Jim Caviezel was amazing, each people who acted in that movie speaked the languages of that time, that make you feel like if you are in that moment, was a wonderful movie👏👏.
And I want to comment on something else, from what I see, it has good cinematography, soundtrack and makeup, according to the Oscar nominations, little is said about these technical aspects of this film and the performances in general. The story is already well known, unless you have never heard that story and who Jesus was. And on the other hand, I see that many people are shocked by the amount of violence, blood and blows and all those things, believe me that in my opinion and according to the facts, I doubt that the film has come very close to réality, since in the same writing it says: Isaiah 52:14.
And they can also be read in reference to His passion Matthew 26:31 and here I leave others Matthew 12:40, Matthew 8:27 or also Luke 6:19, Mark 1, 23-24 or this one also Mark 3, 11-12 and Luke 15, 11-32.
And to finish, this movie must be in the top 250 on Imdb.
Knives Out (2019)
A movie entertaining
It's a movie that you need to be focus to understand what really happen, to know who is who, what are their true intensiones, is funny so is a movie that you can enjoy with your family and friends.
