Pulp Fiction (1994)
Absolute favorite movie
My favorite movie of all time. Everyone must see. I love absolutely everything about this movie from the script to the actors to the quick switches of scenes. It keeps your focus through the whole thing and is hilariously funny and forever quotable.
Taxi Driver (1976)
Another great Scorsese movie
I have also been a fan of both Jodi Foster and Robert De Niro and I think they did an amazing job in this movie. De Niro's portrayal of a war vet with serious issues that people deal with everyday is powerful and I would recommend this so anyone who likes a good crime/ drama movie.
Bonnie and Clyde (1967)
Innovative film
This was a phenomenal film about such an interesting story. I like this movie because there is so much more to it than just Bonnie and Clyde's crimes. The remakes of this movie do not do it justice.
To Catch a Thief (1955)
A great movie with lots of suspense
I have always been a fan of Grace Kelly and I very much enjoyed her performance in this film. The dialogue of this film was very snappy and entertaining, and was able to keep my attention. Very worth watching
The Wizard of Oz (1939)
best movie
By far one of my favorite movies since I was a young child, the script and plot of the movie is one of a kind. Garland does an amazing job of portraying Dorothy, and the songs are just those kind that stick with you forever.
Sunset Blvd. (1950)
Sunset Blvd.
I really enjoyed this movie for what it stood for and represents. Swanson does an amazing job portraying a woman with personal issues. A timeless movie in my opinion.
Fantasia (1940)
Fantasia
I found this movie to be interesting but not one of my favorite Disney movies. I really enjoyed the music of this film and found the animation aspect to be quite unique.
Young Mr. Lincoln (1939)
great perspective on President Lincoln
I really enjoyed this movie a lot, it was interesting to see all these aspects of Abe Lincoln before he was considered Mr. President. Fonda does a fantastic job portraying Lincoln.
His Girl Friday (1940)
a funny screwball comedy
I wasn't really sure how I would feel about this type of comedy movie since I had never watched one before, but to my surprise I was actually found it very funny. I can definitely see why it's considered a classic. I really enjoyed the how fast paced the dialogue was between the characters, I think that added to the comedy of the scenes.
Dracula (1931)
creepy but not bad
I found this movie to be a little boring and not able to keep my interest very well. It didn't have much of a climax and I felt like I was waiting the whole time for something more to happen. I did however like how there wasn't any music or noise in it, it made the film that much more creepy. Although I would not watch it again, I'm glad I can say I did because it is a classic.
Baby Face (1933)
ultimate pre code film
This film was very different than the other films being made during the 30s. It was all about sex and a woman who was used to using her body to work her way to the top. The adventures of this woman trying to find a way in life by using questionable methods makes this movie worth watching, highly recommended.
Girl Shy (1924)
Slapstick!
Although usually I'm not a fan of silent films, I found Girl Shy to be funny and a good romance story. Even though the beginning started out a little slow, by the end I couldn't stop watching! A classic everyone should watch in my opinion.
