Incredibles 2 (2018)
Incredibles 2- Another winner for PIXAR
Incredibles 2 is the continuation to the highly sucessful Incredibles (2004), and it is basically a direct continuation to that movie. This time around, Robert needs to stay at home taking care of the children, while Helen goes on a mission.
The script, just as the first one is very solid, the movie balances really well the superhero elements and the family ones, this last one working really well, making the movie relatable. What makes Incredibles 2 unique comparing to other superhero movies is the themes that it deals, mainly family and parenting, overall it´s all about family, the superhero theme is basically secondary.
The quality of the animation is terrific, the way that the characters move, the brightness, the textures, everything is remarkable, also worth mention is the production design. The action sequences are incredibly realized, thanks to the possibilities that the animation offers, the great sound effects and vibrant soundtrack by the composer Michael Giacchino.
The whole movie is incredibly entertaining and there are hilarious scenes throughout. The only issues that i had were that the villain wasn´t as interesting or memorable as Syndrome from the first movie, and also the ending was a little predictable.
Overall Incredibles 2 is a delight, it might be even better than the first one, i had a blast watching it.

Star Wars: Episode V - The Empire Strikes Back (1980)
The Empire Strikes Back-An All time Classic
The Empire Strikes Back its the fitfth movie in the Star Wars saga and, its still to this day the best movie in the franchise.
Its a movie that does everything right, it build on what came before, in the story that started in A New Hope and it takes to a all new level. It is very well written and it goes in unexpected territory that surprises the viewer(The revelation of Vader that became one of the most quotable lines in movie history its just an example).
In Empire, George Lucas not only delivered an adventure movie but also a movie about the relation between a father and his son and coming of age.
The characters become three-dimensional, Luke is no longer that boy who lived in a farm with his uncles, Leia is no longer a princess who needs to be rescued by a hero, Han who in A New Hope the only thing he cared was money, now cares about his friends and Vader now truly feels menacing also because of the memorable theme "The Imperial March" by John Williams".
There is also the introduction of new characters, and the interesting development about the myth of the force.
From a technical point the movie is also amazing, it has great directing and the visual and sound effects look even more refined than before. Also worth saying its that the movie is ridiculously entertaining and exciting to watch.
Overall The Empire Strikes Back is a fantastic movie and it still looks great even tough it came out in 1980.

Avengers: Infinity War (2018)
Avengers Infinity War: An ambitious Superhero Movie
Avengers Infinity War it´s the 19th film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and it´s the conclusion of 10 years of movies, with all of the characters (or most of them) coming together in one big, ambitious movie project.
This is a movie that took years to develop because of the release of the movies and for the development of all of the characters and story arcs.
Let´s now focus on the movie properly, in Infinity War the heroes must come together to defeat the big guy :Thanos.
The story works, it´s not a great script and certainly marvel has done better, but it works. It´s great to see all of this characters together and all of the interactions between them. The villain is great, Thanos has presence he´s intimidating and the his story line made sense, the relation between him and Gamora was one of the most interesting parts of the movie as it gave depth to the character. The directing is good, the visual effects and the action sequences are impressive as they usually are in these movies. In moments i felt that there was probably an excess of action sequences, it was just a little too much.
By the end, Infinity War might not be the best marvel movie, but it´s an exciting, funny, touching and overall satisfying addition to the Marvel franchise.

Black Panther (2018)
Black Panther-A Superhero movie with something important to say
Black Panther is the most recent Marvel flick, it tells the story of T´Challa the king of the fictional country of Wakanda and his battle with Erik Killmonger who also wants to claim the title of king.
This movie tries to make something different on the superhero genre and to have something relevant to say.It deals with themes about family, racism, prejudice and the search for identity. It is one of the best superhero movies out there, it has a dfferent vibe in its approach thanks to the african culture represented during the whole movie in the mitology, the costumes, the figurine, production design, soundtrack, etc.
The script is good, the cast is great and the main character and villain are well defined, the motives that made Killmonger became the villain made sense and were credible. The battle sequences were also good and well choreographed. The cinematography is stunning, the mix between technology and nature makes for a unique look also in the interior sets.
The CGI in this movies is great as always, however there were some moments were it could have been better and the green screen was noticeable, and the script although is good it´s a little confuse in the beginning and predictable in a moment.
Black Panther ends up being a great superhero movie and another great offering by Marvel Studios.

Hail, Caesar! (2016)
Hail, Caesar-It has its moments but it could have been much better than it is
Hail, Caesar tells the story of a Hollywood fixer who solves every problem related to the production of movies in a studio.
Hail Caesar is an obvious love letter to the big old Hollywood movies, from a technical standpoint the movie is great, the production design on the interior of the movie sets is very detailed and elegant with vivid colors as well as the costumes, the 1950´s aesthetic is very well created too. The cast is great except for some actors who didn´t have many screen time and only made a cameo, and there´s also great scenes here, the Alden Ehrenreich scene were he can not say the line, the Scarlett Johansson and Channing Tatum dance sequences are just an example. However the script its a mess, it falls five different storylines without focusing exactly in one, the editing could also been improved, some scenes felt like they were cut out and just put there, and by the end end of the movie some characters didn´t have a conclusion and the ones who did felt rushed.
Hail Caesar does have its moments but not enough of them, and the script doesn´t really help.

Cloud Atlas (2012)
Cloud Atlas(2012):An ambitious movie project
Cloud Atlas has an extremely ambitious idea for a movie at its core, it tells different stories across three different time periods, Past, Present and Future, with the cast playing many characters. While the movie boasts some interesting ideas and concepts, some of those ideas were not fully realized, the script its kind of a mess. The movie fails in delivering a cohesive storyline, this stories would work better if they were short movies however in a full length movie it didn´t work quite that well.sometimes it was like i was watching different movies whenever the stories cut between them , but Cloud Atlas also has is positive aspects most of the cast is good and the cinematography is beautiful, there are some great shots in here, the production design and the costumes are also worth mention as well as the soundtrack, the Cloud Atlas Sextet is terrific.
By the end Cloud Atlas ends up being a reasonable movie, although it has some good aspects they are not enough to pass its flaws.
