It's clear that this is trying to obsolve responsibility from India and Catherine Oxenberg. It's so obvious watching this that it is NOT actually interviews with India and Catherine. All of their dialog is horrendously acted scripts. It's gross actually. You definitely see the truth of the Nxivm cult to some extent but this is fake acting and trying to scream innocence to India and her mother and it's uncomfortable to watch. India seems like a sociopath

A Hidden Life

Extremely slow and awkward acting

It seemed it was reaching too far to be philosophical and dramatic about some higher moral lesson. I think the film makers are too full of themselves. The acting is awkward all the time. It's beautiful scenery and that's all. It takes 45 minutes to get through what genuinely could take 8-10 in an average film. It could have been way better. A shame for a true beautiful and sad story.

Don't understand all the bad reviews
22 September 2019
The movie was great. People get so dramatic and ungrateful with their boring lives that they get mad about rating a movie. kinda ridiculous but that's past the point. The movie is great. It's funny as hell when it needs to be. Really the only thing that was bad was about 3 scenes of smoke that was very poor CGI. Was actually surprised it slipped somehow. But it's overall a great couple hours to keep you entertained.

Just kind of unfortunate. Very awkward and poor acting. Following the original unbroken which was incredibly done it's even more sad this did not do it justice. The story is beautiful. a shame it wasn't better done is all.
