Rise of the Footsoldier 4: Marbella (2019)
Fairbrass definitely a bad mofo in the fourth foot soldier film..
I've seen every rise of the foot soldier film since the first. The 2nd...3rd and then this one. The heist. Craig fairbrass is one of my favorite British actors EVER!!!! Right up there with tom hardy. But fairbrass is a bad MF in these foot soldier films. This one was brutal..really brutal. But had some funny scenes as well. Especially when his associates take a trip to Amsterdam 😆. But honestly..craig fairbrass is the perfect actor for these British gangster films..
In Too Deep (1999)
Some scenes are hard to watch...but a very gritty crime drM
When I first saw this film...I didn't pay much attention to the plot...BUT the second time I did..I was like WOAH!!! It's a pretty gritty crime drama with Omar Epps portraying J Reed. An undercover cop..(that gets too deep in the drug game) and the lines between right and wrong are blurred. The scene with God's right hand man ( the pool table scene) is very brutal. Then finding his nude corpse in the trash can was pretty grim. Nevertheless this is a great film. If you've never seen it...CHECK IT OUT!!!!!
Hellboy (2019)
Awesome...I don't understand all the hate from other reviews
Honestly..I really liked this movie. It was more of an action horror than a science fiction. It's got alot of grisly gore and some silly moments from hellboy played by David harbor, but besides that, I really liked it. I just don't get all the hate.you gotta take it for what it is. AWESOME.
Retfærdighedens ryttere (2020)
One of the coolest films I've seen all year..Mikkelsen is definitely a legendary actor
I bought this film on DVD because of the reviews I read online. And I will tell you, this is definitely a great film. I loved every minute of it. This is definitely a film worth checking out. Trust me!!!! It's a film that's definitely worth loving for what it is. It's violent...funny and definitely heart warming.
Se sei vivo spara (1967)
The best spaghetti western ever filmed...
I love this film with all my heart. Just like I love Umberto Lenzi's film "man from deep river " there's something about classic Italian films that intrigue me. And this film is it. If you can't except this film for what it is...then go look for something in Hollywood. I love classic Italian/Spanish/French/Greek films to the fullest. And the original Django film is the greatest spaghetti western as well. But there are so many spaghetti western films to put in my so called favorites. But back in these days...Europe was the place for great western/horror/action/polizioteschi ety...don't sleep.
Underworld (1985)
1980s horror from Clive Barker
This film is not as bad as people make it out to be. I remember me and my dad renting this on vhs back in the 80s. And I recently watched it again at 2am on Amazon prime.
Martyrs (2008)
Great film...very dark and depressing
The French can definitely make an extremely terrifying film. From pascal laugher to Xavier gens gaspar noe etc.
BlacKkKlansman (2018)
ABSOLUTELY ANNOYING..
Spike Lee is the most racist filmmaker of garbage infested Hollywood.
Adam Chaplin (2011)
Giulio de Santi...the modern day Lucio fulci
Giulio de Santi's films like Adam Chaplin and infidus are possibly my favorite gore films. Even though I'm a huge fan of classic Italian horror films like Lucio fulci and ruggero Deodato and Joe d amato, Umberto Lenzi, Mario bava etc. But it seems like Giulio de Santi is carrying on the violent gore legacy that Italian filmmakers of Italy were known for. And don't forget Dario argento. But de Santi's films are straight up over the top..way over the top just like most of us like. The only problem with his films, is there needs to be blu ray releases and possibly a blu ray boxset. There's only one film of his I've never seen (only the trailer) is taeter city. Alot of his special effects are alot different from other filmmakers in this horror genres but that's cool. His other films like infidus...hotel inferno are some of my favorites. If you never heard of Giulio de Santi ..then you should definitely look him up and check out his films. They definitely deserve a blu ray release.....
La casa 5 (1990)
It's Claudio fragasso...what do you expect
It's obvious...and by watching some of the extras on some of his poopy re-release films from severin's library and so on...that this director is insanely jealous of American filmmakers such as Francis Ford Coppola. He continuously bashes American filmmakers. Why????? Apocalypse now was one of the best films ever??? And he couldn't bare it??? Get over it. I love classic Italian and European films from the 1940s to the late 1980s. But this amateur and his pesky porker 300lb wife are not in my top 10. Mario bava..Riccardo Freda...Umberto Lenzi..Ruggero Deodato...Federico Fellini...Sergio Martino...are the real filmmakers are legendary icons of Italian cinema.....and even Matteo Garrone gets thrown in the mix...including Carlos Aured...and classic spaghetti western legendary filmmakers such as Sergio corbucci...Sergio sollima...Giulio questi etc.but downing filmmakers from a different continent doesn't make you a respectful filmmaker...considering some of his films are awful and cheap...and cheezy in a very bad way .. I saw (or attempted) to watch some of this man's films and they were so bad I literally gave em away to second hand shops like half price books and the exchange with no expectations of getting a good trade in value...zombie 4 is about the only film I will own from this.mess of a filmmaker. If you disagree with me that's ok..but I stick with my opinion of this atrocious piece of fecal matter. Cheers!!!!!!
The Hunt (2020)
A leftist liberal film where the snowflake liberals get what they deserve in the end lol 😆
A left wing film coming from Jason blum..doesn't surprise me one bit. But watching the leftist snowflakes get what's coming to em makes me enjoy this film even better. Even though Jason Blum and blumhouse production is the biggest joke of Hollywood lol....watching Betty Gilpin slaughter these whiny asses makes my day hahahha......
Coto de caza (1983)
A very bleak and raw Spanish thriller....
I originally saw this film on a bootleg print years back. But since mondo macabro released it on blu ray, it's alot better to view. Definitely not for everyone...the last 15 minutes atleast. But Definitely a great film. Jorge grau never disappoints.... I highly recommend this film.
Undercover (2019)
Great Belgium/Dutch crime series...got me hooked
A great cast of European actors from the Netherlands to Belgium and from Spain. Frank Lammers plays the perfect drug lord. 100% satisfied...hoping for season three.
Infidus (2015)
Giulio de Santi's crime drama with grisly violence
I damn near have everything Santi has ever brought out on the widow maker distribution. And I'd have to say this is one of my favorite films. Hotel inferno Adam Chaplin taeter city and then this one. Definitely caught my attention all the way through.
Apocalipsis Voodoo (2018)
Horrible....poopy..very poopy
I bought this dvd at Walmart after watching the trailer on YouTube thinking it was gonna be a great grindhouse type film...but i was wrong....the only action and gore this film had was all in the trailer. I want my $9.99 back. I feel cheated...horrible...very bad...
Tortured (2008)
Really not as bad as the reviews say
No not at all..especially the lead woman when she's totally nude...
Ill: Final Contagium (2020)
Alot better than doodoo apocalypse
This film consists of four segments from four different directors. All four directors are from different countries. One from Chile..one from Germany and two from Italy. I've never seen a folm like this where the story was about a deadly virus. The first three segments are pretty graphic and kind of disturbing. But overall...this is definitely an original film about contagious viruses. I would definitely recommend this one.
The Tax Collector (2020)
Wasn't as bad as folks say it is..
You can tell that David Ayer directed the film. With the los angeles location. This was a brutal film (especially shia LaBeouf's death and conejo death scene too. Could of been a lil bit better but overall...i enjoyed it and really liked seeing shia lebeouf play the role pf a psychopath cholo.
Masters of Horror: Imprint (2006)
One of the best outta the whole masters of horror...next to jenifer
I can see why this episode was banned. But American cinema and American cable channels can be so soft. THIS Is real horror. The rest of em are pretty good. Clive Barker's episodes and Dario argento's episodes but this one definitely stands out. Loved it...Takashi Miike is a genius.
Cani arrabbiati (1974)
One of my favorite euro crime films out of Italy
I love this film..a straight classic...and because Mario bava directed it too. But i really didn't care too much for the version retitled "kidnapped " with additional scenes and the dubbing and the music score redone. It didn't go well with the film. Even though I'm a lamberto bava fan as well. It just didn't fit.
Tonight She Comes (2016)
Poopy
The acting in this film is atrocious. Story really sucks too
Yuen Chun Hap yu Wai See Lee (1986)
1980s horror from Hong Kong starring chow yun fat (in a small role)
I love this movie...some of the monsters remind me of lucio fulci zombie 3 . Action fantasy horror from Hong Kong. Highly recommend this great bizarre Asian classic from the 1980's . Alot of it is very silly but wtf..it's the 1980s 😉
Laissez bronzer les cadavres (2017)
Great film. This directing couple never surprises me
Loved it...the beginning had a classic spaghetti western feel to it. Highly recommended
Found (2012)
A pretty dark film....amazing
This movie was filmed about 35 miles from where I live...i didn't know it until I saw tje end credits. Such an amazing horror film. An the ending was horrifying (in a very good way)
3 from Hell (2019)
Should of left it at "devil's rejects " but oh well
There's two things that really made this film kind of dull. That's the timing, and it's a sequel. Rob zombie should of immediately started production for a prequel after devils rejects. Instead of using the time and money for the Halloween remake. He should of focused on a prequel. That way the actors would of been able to reprise their roles alot easier. But oh well..i didn't hate this film but i don't love it like i do devils rejects.
