The Dead Don't Die (2019)
Started off okay, but turned to garbage quickly.
I hardly write reviews, but I had to for this one. You would think with a cast of Bill Murray, Steve Buscemi and Tilda Swinton, you would have a good movie.
This movie was anything but good. How they managed to get a great cast for an abysmal movie like this, I do not know.
Nothing happens. Literally nothing. You don't see a zombie until like 35 minutes in, and that is for like 5 minutes, where the two zombies kill two people (wow, two deaths in an hour in a zombie film). Then over an hour later, a whole bloody hour! you see a load of zombies, but they do nothing, again literally nothing.
This whole movie is boring garbage. Avoid!
Britain's Darkest Taboos (2012)
This is one of the best - if not - the best crime shows I've ever seen
Every season was on Netflix at one point and I binged watch the whole lot. Very disturbing stories but excellent production, and it really shows the brutality mankind can do. It's a shame they stopped making more seasons in 2017. I recommend watching this if you like reality crime dramas. 10/10.
I Am Alive: Surviving the Andes Plane Crash (2010)
After watching this deep and emotional story...
that these people went through. That tragic event that took place in their lives in 1972, I just cannot fathom how much I deeply am saddened of the loss of the majority of the people on board but I'm also extremely inspired by how the survivors held it together and managed to survive such an horrific ordeal to some of natures deadliest and ugliest turns.
This amazing documentary and reenactments really shows truly the lives of the survivors and what they all had to go through in this devastating event. Interviews from survivors as well as heart-wrenching scenes and real photographs from the terrifying ordeal.
This truly shows what the human being can do even when faced with extreme adversity. To fight for survival in such a way that this makes this one of the most well known survival stories to date.
Very well made - put together, everything was on point and they went into every detail. This is a must see, such a sad but yet also inspiring story. 10/10.
Hostel: Part III (2011)
Plot was awful, acting was terrible. Overall the movie was horrible.
I am being generous giving this movie a 4/10, but overall the film really wasn't any good. The first Hostel movie I enjoyed very much. I'm a bit of a gore fan myself having watched many movies related to these kinds.
I enjoyed the first Hostel, because it had a general idea in where the movie was heading. It had a great plot and storyline and had very intense scenes and you really could understand and generally get to love the main characters (especially the party goer that turned hero towards the end).
Part 2 was reasonable but this movie was horrible. I'm sorry, you couldn't get to know the characters in this one at all. The acting was atrocious. The general theme and build up was non-existent. There was really no intense scenes which leave you pulling for someone like in the first. Just such a crappy rip off from the first two. Avoid this movie if you can. If you're a fan of just GORE and no storyline, then this may be for you although I wouldn't even put this one up there with the gore of the first one. Just a general waste of time this movie that has no real intentions but just to deliver a cheap shock horror.
