In Time (2011)
10/10
A fantastic SciFi movie that got unfairly critiqued by critics
1 October 2019
In Time is a brilliant movie set in the not so distant future using a Time counter as a life clock after hitting the age of 25 your time clock starts and you from that moment on stop aging and really only die when your time clock runs out.

It's a brilliant movie supported by a fair stella cast, Justin continues his brilliance with In Time to follow on from Friends with Benefits and Social Network. Joined by Amanda Seyfried and Cillian Murphy.

The pacing, plot and story development will keep you engaged all throughout the film. It's unfairly treated by critics who slammed the film for whatever reason. My advice is to ignore any critic when it comes to Films and TV and Games and make your own mind up.

In Time is a fun movie that I enjoyed very much and have watched it countless times. I am really hoping Justin gets back into acting and we will see a much needed and much worthwhile sequel 👍

Baywatch (1989–2001)
8/10
Baywatch was brilliant but lost its charm and its way after Series 3.
11 February 2017
While this review may upset many its how I honestly feel. Baywatch from 1989 was absolutely nothing like what came from 1993 on-wards. Yes the special effects may have gotten better and stories more fleshed out but what made the original shows (89-92) so great was that they had believable characters, close nit story lines and build-able foundations. In my own personal opinion Pamela wrecked the show not improved it. It also annoys me that when people think of Baywatch she is all they think of. The show wasn't the Pamela Anderson show. They really went overboard with the TNA showing after series 3.

The original cast of Hasslehoff, Stevenson, Warlock, Eleniak, Call, Gagnier, Williams, Weatherly, Phelps. Newman, Nelson and Markham is what made the show brilliant. The developing romance between Shauni and Eddie. Friendships develop between Eddie and Court. The close nit story lines of Jill and Shauni. The experience of Craig and the love shared by Gina. The bond between Hobe and Mitch (Sorry but Jackson was a HORRIBLE Hobie compared to Brandon) and Plus the cockiness of Cole.

When Warlock and Elenaik left after the 3rd episode of series 3 and Pamela came in it really took a turn for me and whilst the later series are enjoyable to watch for what they were. Nothing will beat the original series' and stories for me. Baywatch will always in my mind be about the people I mention above. Plus nothing will beat Save Me by Peter Cetera as a main theme. Sorry Jim but it's just simply better than I'll Be Ready.

If you love close stories and developing characters then watch the original series' 1, 2 and 3. If you want Eye-Candy but more action scenes then watch from series 3 onward. Also Erika will always be the Queen of the Beach!

Our Girl (2013 TV Movie)
10/10
Series 2 will have you on the edge of your seat, much better than Series 1.
20 September 2016
I Wasn't a fan of series 1 of Our Girl, didn't like Lacy Turner as lead and didn't like the way the story progressed throughout the first series so when I heard it was coming back for a second season I was going to give it a miss until I heard Michelle Keegan was to take up the lead role so I decided to give it a chance and I am glad I did.

Keegan knocks it out of the park and then some. Series 2 will keep you on the edge of your seat. If you like War drama's and high adrenaline rushes then Our Girl series 2 is for you.

Keegan's performances have seriously surprised me transitioning from Soap to a Drama is never easy and she has something in her arsenal that Turner was missing. I love Our Girl now and will be watching every episode from now on. Eyes glued to set. Love it.
