The 7th Rule: Captain Nog Forever (2019)
Aron's legacy is bigger than he could have ever imagined.
It's only been a short time since the passing of Aron Eisenberg and we have learned so much. To most of the world he was known as Nog on Star Trek: Deep Space Nine but to those that knew him (and those like myself who felt as though they did) his on-screen character was only the very beginning of the impact he had on the world. "The 7th Rule: Captain Nog Forever" is a touching tribute to the man that inspired and drew so many of us together. Ryan and Cirroc host everyone from former co-stars and family to friends and fans who share stories of inspiration and laughs that echo from the light Aron brought to us all. I don't only recommend this show to sci-fi or Star Trek fans, I recommend it to anyone who is interested in stories of the human spirit and the impact one person can have on so many.
The 7th Rule (2019)
For what we left behind and what took with us.
Just to get way too personal on a review, I feel like I grew up with Jake and Nog on DS9. Being roughly the same age as the two of them it was inspiring and encouraging to see "kids" my age go through such interesting and strong character development. Here I am now, older than the adults were on the show, and I'm still talking about everything I learned. Having the chance to "sit down" with Aron, Cirroc and Ryan every week and reminisce about DS9 while experiencing new Trek "together" is something I look forward to on the regular. As a life-long Trek fan (and a podcaster for the last decade) I love this show. I couldn't recommend it more.
