"Worst movie ever" is a bit steep (who keeps such a count anyway?), but it came pretty close, at least as far as I am concerned. Sure, it delivered on the promise in the synopsis: there's a stranded flight pilot, a dark and creepy bunker, and monstrous humanoid creatures that escape and terrorize a military camp. But the way it was all executed was below every par.
The movie dates from 2022, but they give us as creatures guys in black wrinkled rubber suits! Only the roaring heads and jaws are reasonably decent CGI. The militaries don't do anything but running around and shooting like crazy, and some of the more prominent characters are made to talk with such excruciating accents, to sound like (I guess) mid-west Americans or Scots, that it was downright painful to hear. Together with the bad acting, the constant deafening sound of the shooting, and the uninspired repetitive goings-on, it made me throw in the towel after some 50 minutes. So maybe I've missed on a mind boggling finale that would have set my criticism to shame. Somehow I doubt it.
