Julio Peña is kindda cute.

It's too rated R+ for teen viewing.

What happened to the innocent and sappy rom/coms of the 90s?

I get the storyline is geared towards the teen audience of modern times but many things just seem too rushed. I agree with other viewers that's it's an ok viewing but it is a bit too uncomfortable to watch. You might just have to skip a few scenes here and there.

Dialogue is lacking. I understand this was based on a book? Was the author involved in the filmmaking process? Did they write some of the dialogue? I wish there was more emphasis placed on the spatial awareness of the movie. Like show us the yard, the scenery where the story takes place. Don't rush through it.

Twilight (I) (2008)

Just like that? Dazzle me?!

This movie tells a lovely story about a girl falling in love - with a vampire.

When I first heard about the move and all the hype surrounding it I picked up the first book. I wanted to know what to expect. I usually like seeing the movie first (if it is based on a book), but this time I wanted to be able to see some of the differences between the book and the movie adaptation.

I was not aware the movie was a small budget production. At the beginning it did feel like it. As the movie progressed I started to kindda like it. I liked the fact that the movie closely followed the book and that in a way movie makers preserved the essence of "Twilight". Yes it is cheesy but likable.

Keeps me glued
15 May 2006
>This show keeps you on the edge of your seat, curious and jumping up and down. It is a show that has a great cast, lovable characters and something that keeps you glued to your television. It has something that not many of today's shows have. I am still trying to figure out what exactly that is. Maybe this show is not as predictable as some of the others? Maybe this show has a better plot? Or cast? Whatever it may be I hope this show will last more than "John Doe" and some of the others that had potential to be great but failed.

>>In the show we meet Lincoln, an innocent man on the death row. And we meet Michael, a brother trying to save him. But nothing in life is simple. It takes courage, time, and a few friends to give you a little push in the right direction. It all comes down to: Who can you trust?

>>>I think this is a great show. I truly enjoy watching it. I have to admit I was drawn to the show because of Dominic Purcell. I used to watch "John Doe", an interesting show he starred in; sadly the network canceled it just after a few episodes. I also watched a few episodes of "Dinotopia" and recognized Wentworth Miller. I am pretty sure that the rest of the people working on the show are making a great deal of difference putting the show in motion.

Complete Savages (2004–2005)
Complete ---> Savages!
14 March 2006
I saw all of the episodes aired on TV. Pilot episode was especially entertaining.

At first the Savage family might appear crazy and dysfunctional. The more you keep watching you cannot stop and you realize they function perfectly exactly the way they are. This show is about kids, and a single dad. It is about an uncle, some friends and girlfriends, and of course safety precautions given by Officer Cox. Mel Gibson is hilarious in this role. This show is great. It's funny and entertaining. It's a must see kind of show. It is one of those TV shows that should stay on the TV screens for a while. I bet even re-runs would be fun to watch.

MacGyver: Pilot (1985)
Season 1, Episode 1

Mind is a very powerful tool.

I think I was about 10 years old when I first discovered "MacGyver". A local TV station was showing re-runs during the late '90s. This TV show caught my attention because of the main character, MacGyver. MacGyver was fun, smart, a modern day superhero whose only superpower was his intelligence. There are many life lessons about friendships, love and finding out who you are. I think Season 4 especially shows many of those important life lessons and through the characters we learned them as well. There are no shows on TV today that can be compared to this particular show. "MacGyver" is truly a unique piece of TV history. I always had a blast watching "MacGyver" adventures. And now years later I still enjoy watching it. I hope that new generations will learn to appreciate the good old - "MacGyver".

Batman Begins (2005)

Amazing! Batman!
11 September 2005
The first time I saw a trailer for this movie I though it will be a big hit. The critics said it is a big hit. And after watching the movie, I guess I was right. You take a good story, amazing director, mix it with the great and talented actors and what you get is the movie people will be talking about for a while. Christian Bale shines as he changes the traditional Batman character into something completely new. Let's not forget Morgan Freeman who is interesting as always. This movie leaves us guessing and wanting more. I have to say the audience, including myself, will be looking forward the next chapter of Batman movies. (That is if there will be another Batman movie made.) This movie is definitely Oscar-worthy.
