The Hurricane (1999)
Great movie if you enjoy Fictional propaganda that claims to be "Based on a true story"
"Hurricane" was one of the worst examples by misguided uppity leftists- who live in quasi-White only Closed gated communities- in Hollywood to turn a violent racist career criminal psychopath into "Mother Theresa". Carter was NO Muhammed Ali, Jack Dempsey, Rocky Marcino, Joe Louis, George Foreman, Joe Frazier, etc despite what this bs movie tells us. He was ranked ninth place in middleweight boxers, anyone who watched the fight he whined "racism" over the judge's decision knows that the only racism was from Carter when he didn't get his way when he lost. He never defend his friends from a child rapist, but he did slash a man's face with a beer bottle when Carter tried to mug him. He assaulted a member of his Carter's defense group, who is Black. To me "Hurriance" is NOTHING more than a degraded level one tropical storm at best. This and "Redemption" which was redemption in name only and like Hurriance" was insulting fictional propaganda that claim to be "Based on a true story". There much better movies from Denzel and Foxx than these leftist propaganda devoid from all reality and common. Stick to The Taking of Pelham 123, Training Day, American Gangster or Coletral, Ray, or The Kingdom. Btw, Stick to the original Notorious- 1940's- not the Biggy Small propaganda bs one
Cinderella (1997)
a modern twist to a classic
I really enjoyed this movie and I have to say Brandy did a wonderful job singing , much better than Lesley Ann Warren in 1965 version. In fact I agreed with the King ( White) when he wished he was younger when he saw Brandy romantically ballroom dance with his Oriental son, the Prince, while sitting next to his wife ( Black), the Queen ( if you want reality don't watch this movie or Harry Potter, etc). That being said my favorite is the 1957 version. I don't know why some people nowadays has a problem with Cinderella having blond hair and blue eyes. They're as bad as those that curse this version because Cinderella isn't White. Remember Cinderella is a fairy tale that originated in 17 century Europe long before international travel was a common affair, so you should chill out if the cast is all white because that was the ethnic makeup of Europe when the story was created. No one complained when "Happy Ever after" with it's all White cast( no singing)and Cinderella with blond hair and blue eyed. My second one would be this one. I can't stand Lesley Ann's singing. My mom told there are two types of Racism, attacking people because they're not White and attacking people because they are White. Despite the media's coverage, the latter is a much bigger problem nowadays according to the FBI and Justice Dept. This is not to downside the former because both suck. People should enjoy all versions of Cinderella ,well 2/3 equally. I won't expect anyone to ignore Lesley's bad singing in the 1965 version.
The Siege at Ruby Ridge (1996)
Placing blame on the victims?
A poster here said the government screwed up but it wouldn't have had happened if the Weavers weren't politically incorrect in their beliefs. That is totally BS. Have you heard of something called the bill of rights? Just because the Weavers were fanatically about some things ( some I agree with, some I don't) does not give the US government any right to murder his wife, his sons and even their dog. Maybe you should leave Ohio and go back to the Soviet Union, etc where the government welcomes your oppressive anti-free speech regime and holds the victims responsible for the evil things the government does. If it can happen to the Weavers and those at Waco, it can happen to any and all of us. Shame on you.
Rot in hell to the lowlife sniper( of Chinese, etc descent, not that matters much because he still be a murdering scumbag if he was White) that murdered Randy's wife, sons and dog.
Forgive but never Forgot when the US government became the Gestapo in 1992 Iowa and 1993 Texas. As for Randy being a "white supremacist", that is not a crime, nor does it make one a terrorist or a criminal, unless you support the ADL/SPLC Nazi-like thought crime BS.
Philadelphia Experiment II (1993)
History so re-written it's too-unbelievable even by Hollywood standards
On story plot I give this movie a 1 out of ten. it didn't at all follow the original movie's plot. Only reason it got a three was the f/x were cool. The Axis get a hold a stealth fighter from 1993 and use it destroy Washington D.C If Germany had a stealth fighter back then, why would they skip all neighboring countries in Europe and go straight after the US and how to was the US not able to fight off an direct attack from Germany. Also how could the Germans be able to use the stealth fighter and make it invisible to radar since that technology didn't exist in 1940's. Also, like all PC movies nowadays Germany is the main villain of the US and was behind Pearl Harbor. Japan isn't even mentioned in this movie. This movie's "what if" bit is too-unbelievable. This movie about the US being occupied by an Axis power after ww2 would have made more sense if they use Japanese as the one that use a stealth fighter to destroy Los Angelas or San Franisisco instead of picking an Axis power that didn't originally want a war with the US. Enough with the "Nazis" already, pick some one who actually fits into the role of villain when you look at the storyline and when and where it takes place. If Germany had destroyed D.C. we would have nuked them. But of course, movies like this aren't made to be historically honest.
Behind Enemy Lines (2001)
Classic RED,WHITE and BLUE movie
I don't understand why so many here are bad mouthing this movie. Maybe it's all the pinko egghead European enlist losers that hate real Americans as much as they hate their patriotic European brothers and sisters. BEL is like Black Hawk Down and Rambo 1 and 3 ( the second was too unrealistic to enjoy), exposing the harsh realities of war and genocide. While I don't care for many of Owen's movies like the extremely historically inaccurate "Karate/Cowboy" movies,I liked this one a lot. Two American pilots go on a reconnaisse mission on Christmas Day. " Son of a b*&^h. Do you see this? He put us on holiday mission. God D$%m it." "Well look at the bright side, at least we get to fly." "Yeah, during the one good meal of the year. It's almost like he doesn't us." "No, No, Not Me,you. Not me, You." "I'm an Marine. We handle the serious stuff. You, You're a Navy pilot. Your role is to eat Jell-o. You don't get to pick your fights , they come to you." "I get it, but at least give me a fight I understand.... I mean it's a joke. Everyone gets to think they will punch some Nazi in the face at Normandy and those days are long gone. Now I realize I'm going be eating Jell-o. Are you going to eat that by the way?" "First you complain about the jell-o and now you want to eat everybody's Jell-o." Due to a malfunction in their intelligence read-out, They fly over an unauthorized "De-Militarized" zone that is Military active. The area was deemed off limit because Nazi-like Serb forces are using the area to hide their genocidal victims. Unknown to the American pilots, the pictures they take are of graves the Serbs didn't want America or NATO to find out about. Before long, the Serbs fire two SAMs at the pilots's jet and the Americans know they are under attack. After ejecting, one American is killed execution style, the other must survive a genocidal army and a genocidal sniper and recover the photo evidence he took. While the ending scence was kind of far fetched, the movie is semi-based on a true story. Althrough even the typical Hollywood ending didn't make this movie too-unrealistic to enjoy. Besides, most movies have much more unbelievable scenes than when Owen is "bullet proof" at the end. While not Oscar material, it is a Red,White and Blue American classic.
