Friends with Benefits (2011)
Shallow but charming romantic comedy
So "FREINDS WITH BENEFITS" gives us a very typical new york love story, and as usual, the way to the love is not so easy. Lets start with the plot, we have Dylan, the shy an handsome young man from LA who made his way to the NYC. The man who takes this place is no other then Justin Timberlake, who did a perfect job as the young charming and horny young man that as the movie goes on appeared as a sensitive boy with a complicated family background. The movie started with Dylan getting a job offer in new york, he came to the big city, there he feels unconnected. But he has Jamie, a "had hunter" who helped him during his first days in the city and soon became his best friend. Our Jamie is the lovely and supper sexy Mila Kunis, Jamie is the urban new york girl with hopes to "Hollywood style true love", she defines herself emotional defective and a lot of her problems comes from her "special" mother (Patricia Clarkson). Dylan and Jamie are lonely, and misses sex so they decided to start an unemotional relationship, based on sex only, from now on you're about to have a really good time with Jamie and Dylan's hilarious and sexy adventure. Now let's take a look at all the aspects of the movie, the story of this movie is far from being unique, I think that after 15-20 minutes every one can see how the end is going to look like, but the main actors are pretty good and they take this ordinary plot to a young and wild place. I also like the presenting of Dylan's family and their issues, which gave this movie another measure, a deeper one. So let's make it short, this movie is the ideal romantic comedy, funny, easy but also charming and cute. for another reviews: http://imdb.com/user/ur44998795/comments
This Is England (2006)
National craze
"This is england" is a periodic drama about the lower class in of the 80s, at the peak of the Falklands War nationalist groups get stronger but also becomes more and more dangerous when nationalist groups become racist and extremer, what brings a little boy named Sean who lost his dad in the war to a massive and powerful journey about nationalism that shows him the ugly side of the patriotism - the national purity. In this film you get a critical perspective about the British society of those years. The director did an amazing job by taking you inside england of those years and letting you feel the atmosphere. The development of the young people gang from a funny and easy gang to a dangerous group leaded by a racism maniac. Along the changing of the gang something else has changed too - the boy. the main actor, Thomas Turgoose made a great performance (and by the way his first) as Sean, the little boy but most of the others were not more than nice. In summary this movie is much more than just a movie, it is story, story of a period. For another reviews: http://imdb.com/user/ur44998795/comments
The Cook (2008)
red meat for dinner
One sure thing you can say about "The Cook" is that the plot of this movie is innovative, it is not another movie about a group of teens who get lost in a distant road, it is something new and refreshing. This movie is far away from being a psychological horror with a deep script and a thrilling soundtrack, it is a funny and easy horror comedy. As i said before, it is not an high quality movie but "The Cook" is just make you laugh and smile and that is what we should expect from those kind of movies. The thing I liked the most in this movie is that it does not shows you only the scenes of the killings, the blood and the internal organs, (like a lot of other movies) it shows also the growing relationships between the characters especially between lance the geek boy and bunny the hot girl. In summary, if you are looking for a deep and qualitative horror so keep searching because it is not this movie, but if you are looking for a nice, funny and easy horror movie, so this is the one for you!
El Mascarado Massacre (2006)
A predictable horror
The "wrestlemaniac" is another slashers movie, the story is about a group of young people who want to go to a town in Mexico, but instead they get two a place with a local legend about crazy wrestler from the 60s. The acting was amateurish, there was no deep script but all of these are not the real problem of this movie, the real problem is the fact that we have already seen movies like this before, a group of teenagers/young people that get lost and mistakenly find themselves running away from a local maniac, this movie just gives you the feeling that you know what is going to happened next. The "wrestlemaniac" does not bring a story we have not heard before. In summary, I did no like "wrestlemaniac", this movie is expected, and the worst thing is that the movie does not frightening as good horror movie should. for another reviewes: http://imdb.com/user/ur44998795/comments
The Godfather (1972)
A Great Film Art
A GREAT MOVIE, one of the best film art ever, the actors are great especially Al Pacino that made there(in my opinion) his best performance of his career. this movie takes you inside the Italian mafia world in the US but more important, it takes you inside the Corleone family, it shows the the relationship between the father, Don Vito and his children, especially with Michael(Al Pacino). What makes this movie so fascinating is the way that Francis Ford Coppola(the director) make you to identify with the main characters - people who murder their enemies and live like they are above the law, he make you love and admire the bad guys - The Mafia. In conclusion, the godfather is one of the best movies I have ever seen and i recommend it to all the film lovers. for anothe reviews: http://www.imdb.com/user/ur44998795/?ref_=nb_usr_prof
