Why do they make the character of Margot look so much like a middle aged weirdo? Her stupid hairstyles are so ridiculous that the character cannot be taken seriously. For American audiences I can imagine they must believe all ladies of a certain age look as nutty as this woman. Whoever is in charge of the character design - needs to reflect on this and just make her look like someone who can be believed. I think the show overall is fine but there was something magical about the tropical setting. The English countryside looks so beautiful and the characters are sincere. Just make the storylines a little less sentimental and pack a little more punch.

I loved how bad this film is! Over acting, poor scruffy costumes, terrible sets and amateur performances and that was just the shark! He he he!!!

It's amazing how funding is even found for projects like this because there are so many gifted and talented people in the film industry, this is pretty poor. I agree with a previous reviewer - at least those on screen were able to pay their rent for a few weeks so that's a positive outcome! I hope that the new Meg film is better than this effort but it's probably just a few degrees better - but honestly it doesn't really matter because it's pure escapist fun and games!

It is cold, wet and miserable outside. How can you escape the conditions? Watch this show! It is a true fantasy from start to finish. If only it were true! What I love especially is the slant in every story is a lesson to be learnt by every fantasy request. There is a great deal of sincerity in this show, everything is clean and truly beautiful. I know you might feel it superficial but honestly, I don't care. It is pure escapism and the scenery is breathtaking. I am sure it I'll be extended because there is an audience that need this kind of entertainment. It is lovely and a pleasure to watch.

What a fabulous movie. Shoes and hair correct. Costume design correct. Poverty and helplessness correct. I just loved Kevin and Woody telling the unknown story of the law enforcement who stopped the carnage caused by Bonnie and Clyde. How brave these men were to their sue on such horrendous murderers who were seen as folk heroes. I love movies of this genre because they show how hard as lives were for ordinary people at that time. Getting the details right makes all the difference. But having movie royalty like Kevin and Woody makes this movie special . I am going to try and purchase it on DVD.

How clever the plot writers were to incorporate such sophisticated twists and turn in the story line. For the main character to underestimate the subtlety of the best detective in history (after Sherlock Holmes) because despite only having one eye, Columbo is truly as sharp as a tack and eagle eyed!

I love the way Columbo mocks the great Conductor by playing 'Chopsticks' so badly - it is so funny!

Also the acting from Peter and John is so superb - you would never know they were great friends in real life. I love this episode because the disappointment from the composers wife at the end is so sincere. Truly incredible story and excellent acting.

Technically I thought it was lovely to watch, but the charm of the original was missing. I wished they added the cute touches like the nest, eggs and little blue birds on the end of Pinocchio"s nose... that would have been delightful! Also there needed to be a coach for the accents to be consistent because they kept bouncing across the Atlantic back and forth.

I thought Tom Hanks was sincere and kind in the role and the artist direction was gorgeous - especially as there were little twinks to the original movie with the beautiful clocks. So to those reading I would say - this is a family movie but with caution... an English expletive is said that somehow slipped through, the word 'Bollocks' isn't a word I would like little children to hear or use. If you don't know - it's a slang swear word for male genitals!

Other than that - a nice movie.

The quality of the sound is terrible!!! I sounds like it was shot on an iPhone! It's a pity because Johnny Depp is delicious in this role - and any movie with Stephen Graham is going to be a successful project. But - this should have been a block buster but it isn't because of the lack of refinement. There should have been a lot more detail but instead it skirted over the characters and just made it one long big boys gunfight. At least the cars looked good - but truly this is an opportunity missed to have created something really magnificent. I wish there has been more emphasis on the quality rather than the fight scenes.

It wasn't as bad as the previous reviews. Bruce (bless him!) in decline, Megan is monosyllabic but the story is good. The Margarita helped to endure it - wish Ridley Scott had made it instead. It would have been incredible!

This is a really confident production with some great names - but it is dubious how easily the characters spill the information to the grieving father... also some unfortunate stereotypes which lacks a little bit of imagination. Still I enjoyed it whilst doing the ironing.

I loved this film because it showed the power of lust, deceit and manipulation by a desperate woman. The horrible little man across the hall was the true catalyst of the mean deception so if I were in Billie's shoes I would have felt as betrayed by the weak stupid men I had associated with. As far a S I am concerned she did what she had to to to survive. Nobody died... which is good news. But poor Billie was let down by weak stupid men...

It was done on the cheap but honestly I wouldn't kick it out of bed! It was a really good story and convincing even though Mr Butler kept making his lines up. I enjoyed it.

What a fantastic surprise this movie is - on so many levels. Superb design, amazing cast, genius story. I was enveloped in a different time - set in two rooms. If Alfred Hitchcock had read this screenplay he would have created what I m had just watched. This is Mark Ryland at his best - understated, mellow with a sting in the tale (tail) - what a pleasure to see a great story played out by such a great cast. Bloody brilliant!

Ignore the moaners - this film is a delight! Great cast and storyline. Just right. We loved it because it was not offensive but very funny. Stephen Graham is just wonderful. He couldn't make a poor film if he tried. Just watch it and enjoy the fantasy.

What a joy this show is. Beautiful casting, perfect costumes, hair, shoes and makeup. This is a true treat for the optics! And the juicy cherry on top of the cake is that it is hilarious! Fantastic writing- expertly executed. I love love love this series! Well done to all involved.

Storyline is hilarious and beautifully written. I could watch each episode over and over again. They are a joyous feast for the eyes! I love this beautiful show!

I know I am a woman of a certain age but I love this movie!

Have watched Jaws lots of times, but just noticed when the life guard blows the whistle when everyone is on the beach, the shot looks straight into his shorts from below and you can see the guy's private parts!

The film is ruined now...! Just kiddin' !

To see the gorgeous Bruce restore a mid century table and create two new chairs in rose wood was an absolute joy. He did it because he saw the true beauty in this contemporary furniture. What is even more phenomenal is the beautiful Bruce is left handed and doesn't allow his personal restrictions to prevent him from making the neglected into something gorgeous. I love this show, mainly because it isn't emotional but practical and that's a great way to show the world how to prevent more landfill! I think Bruce is a hero.

I don't think Noel Coward would mind his original story being adapted for the 21st century audience. In fact the incredible locations, cars and costumes embed this wonderful fantasy into another time altogether. It was a glorious sight for sore, tired eyes - reminding me of the joy of life... with the world currently in a crisis, let's just suspend our cynicism and try to enjoy the beautiful work on the screen. I loved it.

What is the matter with you who have written such terrible reviews? This is creativity at its best! The mad hair and embellished costume design should give you the indication that it isn't even set on this planet but an alternative universe! It honestly doesn't matter that it's far fetched and surreal - it is funny and well acted, so just sit back and relax and enjoy the beautiful scenery and costumes.

The attention to detail is first class. Every aspect of this production is believable. Superb acting, costumes, make up and hair. The setting is perfect and dressed with fantastic reference to the time. I am really impressed - even the incidental music is beautifully matched to the story. I love it all!

As an artist, I try and see the beauty in everything. Visually the film is a masterpiece of technology. It is such a pity that the story line was so diluted (pun intended) because this was such a wonderful opportunity to make a significant statement about the rape of the oceans and the abuse of the environment - but instead we were presented with a limp excuse of a story line that was about class and prejudice. The injustice was the theme was held back by poor dialogue and Americanism of vocabulary. In addition to the film being far too long - the stars were the fish and the goat in the plane flying over the desert. Never mind - take away all the bad bits and your left with a great screen saver!

This has got to be one of the very best works of television in the last 10 years. Casting was superb, setting gorgeous and the storytelling gripping! I have had to ration myself to one episode a day - because I want to enjoy it slowly. How can death, murder, menopause and arson be funny? It is sooo funny, so crisp and as refreshing as the white wine slurp down by the pint by Jen! I love this show and would recommend it to any one who needs a dip into the fabulous world of Jen and Judy... mediocre it is not! Well done writers - love love love it!

I like this show - a very modern slant on a 1920's times but I just cannot accept the costumes they dress the lead actress in. They are far too removed what women - even progressive women, would have worn in those days. It just removes the convincing layer of authenticity that is needed to maintain a theme. A pity that the budget doesn't stretch to dressing the cast correctly. Trousers would have been really frowned upon and if there were worn then they would have an Oxford Bag style - not tapered at the ankle and floating above the shoe. Please take a bit more care - if you want the show to be taken seriously.
