Mazes and Monsters (1982)
Recommended to Me. Ugh.
Seriously? Since I play D&D I'd like this movie? If I could've given it less than one star, I would have. The writers of this obvious "Say No To Drugs"-wannabe film were woefully misinformed of true RPG games/gamers. Unlike at least Robbie, I'm no schizo. Just your average 40-something chick who enjoys a game of Dungeons & Dragons once ever other week or so.
Those loopy nuts? Caves? Candles? Seeeerriiouuusssly? Where are the dice? The jokes? The (HELLO!) lighted room? Chips & drinks? The bickering? Hence, where is the FUN I'm always having? Speaking for myself, in D&D I use my imagination, yes. I do a lot of research, yes. I can get wrapped up in it, yes. But I DO know how to separate fantasy from reality. There's a big DUH there.
Yeah, I can totally see Rifftrax or MST3K going to town with this flick. Especially since I bet plenty of them have a few 20-sided dice of their own.
Vengeance of the Dead (2001)
No Sense!
There can be no spoilers here because there aren't any! The longer I watched the film, the more confused I got. When the end credits came, I actually sat up and said, "What? That's it? Huh??" No clue.
The only saving grace is watching this with Rifftrax.
If I could give this film less than one star, I would.
Oblivion 2: Backlash (1996)
Miss Kitty's Son?
I was just watching the much better Rifftrax version (that's why 3 stars instead of 1). When Miss Kitty is talking to Sweeney and refers to Zack as her "Ssssss...sincere friend" was the character trying not to say Son? Is that why she sacrificed her life (or one of her nine) for him? Is Miss Kitty Zack's mother?? It would make sense as to why she was - as Zack pointed out - always good to him and his dad.

Rifftrax
There's only one way to watch a stinker like this: Rifftrax. The film was bad enough the first time I watched it, but when I watched it with the Rifftrax guys riffing it, I was quite entertained!
