Echo 3: The Gambler (2022)
Militarily Stupid
This show started out slow and was a tactical nightmare from the start. Rational people, let alone highly trained battle trained operatives, don't act so amateurishly. First the Colombian military was out but they tracked the two main characters as they killed people in the streets of Bogota. Then they were in and raided the rebel camp in the jungle. They could have taken out all of them but didn't. They could have shot up their canoes, but they didn't. Next they get a call and they are told to abort. So they're out again. Then the general says you can go back but not officially. So they go back and set up an inept ambush of the rebels at the border. Stupidly inept, but made worse by obviously irrational acts which lead to the rebels taking Amber away - again. This episode was beyond the pale and strains credulity to the point that I am parting ways with this turkey - even if it is Thanksgiving!
The Offer (2022)
an excellent show
The Offer is an opportunity to pull back the curtain and view the world of what it takes to make a movie. The show is excellent. The story is real and the characters have depth. I can't wait to see season 2!
The Last Days of Ptolemy Grey: Ptolemy (2022)
A great show with a wretched ending
I really enjoyed the Last Days of Ptolemy Grey. Samuel L. Jackson showed that he is a serious actor. All throughout, the story was headed to an inevitable ending. But when it arrived, it was disjointed and unfulfilling and not befitting the great story that it closed.
The Lost Symbol: Melencolia I (2021)
Amateurs
The CIA SWAT team shows up. They watch one of their own get run over. They don't shoot anybody and they let the van drive off? That is amateurish and stupid. I'm done with this series.
The Clovehitch Killer (2018)
Horrible and predictable
I really expected more from this film. But it was so predictable in plot and stupid in execution. The kid was worse than stupid.
Star Trek: Picard: Et in Arcadia Ego, Part 2 (2020)
Loved it!
I felt like it was going home! It was great to see the characters from the past. The interaction was wonderful and heartwarming. Patrick Stewart was .... Patrick Stewart - the perfect Picard.
Capitani (2019)
Started out slow, but got worse
This show could have been good if they had spoken to someone who had at least passing knowledge of police work. The police work was beyond incredulous.
